Terms of Service

The service
The Craft Standard provides menu-based staff training for restaurants and bars: quizzes, scenarios, recipe practice, and the reporting around them. The specifics of what your business receives — setup, content builds, pricing, and term — are set out in the order form or agreement your business signs with us. If that agreement and this page ever conflict, the signed agreement wins.
Accounts
Accounts are created by invitation from a business on the platform. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials to yourself. Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of the team information they enter and for deactivating team members who leave.
Your content, our platform
Menus, wine lists, standards, and sales figures your business enters remain your business's property. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the service — including generating training content from them. The platform itself, and training content we author, remain ours. Training content generated for your business is for your internal staff training, not for resale or redistribution.
Fair use
Don't attempt to access another business's data, probe or overload the service, share answer keys, or use the platform for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
Payment and cancellation
Fees, billing cadence, and cancellation terms are in your signed agreement. On cancellation, we will provide an export of your business's data on request and then delete it.
Honest limits
Training helps teams learn; it does not by itself make your business compliant with alcohol-service, food-safety, or employment laws — that responsibility stays with the business. The service is provided "as is": we work hard to keep it fast, correct, and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and our total liability to a business is capped at what that business paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be dated at the top of this page and communicated to account owners. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which The Craft Standard is organized. Questions: Daniel@thecraftstandard.app.
